  • Pasta, penne - 8 oz (sub any other pasta shape)
  • Baby spinach - 5 oz , roughly chopped
  • Marinara sauce - 4 cups (we highly recommend Rao's)
  • Frozen meatballs - 1 lb
  • Cheese, parmesan (opt) - 2 oz , grated

  1. Boil pasta - Boil pasta according to package directions. Drain. If prepping ahead, toss with some oil to minimize sticking. (Can be done up to 5 days ahead)

  2. Spinach - Roughly chop spinach. (Can be done up to 3 days ahead)

  1. Pour marinara sauce into saute pan and heat up over medium-high heat. When sauce is simmering, add frozen meatballs and cook until they’re tender in the middle.

  2. Add cooked penne and spinach into marinara, and cook until spinach is wilted.

  3. Serve pasta with parmesan cheese sprinkled on top (if using) and enjoy!
