Roasted Green Beans:
  • Green beans, fresh - 1 lb , trimmed
  • Parchment paper - for roasting
  • Oil, olive - 1 1/2 Tbsp
  • Salt - 1/4 tsp (omit if your za'atar has salt in it)
  • Black pepper - 1/4 tsp
  • Za'atar - 1 tsp
  • Lemon - 1/4 , wedges

Make

  1. Heat oven to 425F / 218 C. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.

  2. Make sure green beans are very dry (to ensure crispy beans), and place them on baking sheet. Toss with oil, salt and pepper and spread out in a single layer.

  3. Roast green beans for 15-20 minutes, until lightly browned, tossing halfway through.
