Comment: "Used 2-3 times the spices and added some onion powder, and used way more sriracha than mayo. Made sure to sear the patties well. This was great! Added minced garlic to chard; the chard wasn't that special but complemented the meal nicely. "

Comment: "These were really really good. I used multi-grain rice instead of regular rice and plain yogurt instead of mayo. I think this would also make great filling for burritos as well."

Comment: "The black bean patties exceeded our expectations! They stayed together okay when made as directed, but wouldn't hold up if eaten as a burger. Delicious with the sriracha mayo. The chard was a little bland, could have used some garlic or maybe more onion. "

Comment: "The flavors were delicious however the patties were pretty crumbly. It was more of a tasty black bean mash than anything. "

Comment: "Went into this one fully expecting for it to be a 2 star, meatless, placeholder. I was very surprised when the patties turned out to be very flavorful and filling when combined with the greens (also flavorful). I cooked 3 corn cobs in the microwave and then only needed the kernels from one for the patties, so the other two became an additional side dish. Make sure to get a good sear with some color on the patties before putting them in the oven, the crisp makes the dish."

Comment: "Loved it! I used a little bit less rice than the recipe called for- I just kind of eyeballed ingredients until the mash got sticky enough to hold together. Sooo flavorful! These are my go to veggie burgers now. :)"

Comment: "We doubled the spices and this turned out very good! Next time I would add more corn and use 2 bunches of chard. I'm also thinking about maybe adding some Quinoa into the patties next time."

Comment: "I'm never buying veggie burgers again! These were awesome. I was concerned about them falling apart due to user reviews so I used an immersion blender to mash up the black beans instead of using a fork. They came out so super pasty I had no trouble at all getting them to stick. They were also really fun to make! Would be a great recipe for kids to do. For the Sriracha Mayo I used light mayo to cut some calories and also added a bit more lemon juice, garlic and added cumin as well. I liked it so much I doubled it and put it in the empty mayo bottle. :-). Would be yummy on a sandwich or grilled fish I think!"

Comment: "Not my favorite of the meals I've made. I added an egg and flour to get the patties stick together. Without that they would have been a mush. The flavor was tasty but there are other recipes I'd made again before this. I do love the idea of a homemade veggie burger."
